Chakaria, Cox’s Bazar

In a heartfelt effort to support underprivileged families during the holy month of Ramadan, United Welfare Society successfully completed a large-scale food distribution project in Chakaria, Cox’s Bazar. A total of 1,000 food packages were distributed among the needy, thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Zayed Charitable & Humanitarian Foundation.

This initiative aimed to bring relief and hope to families struggling with poverty and food insecurity during Ramadan, a time of reflection, compassion, and community support. The food packages, carefully prepared and distributed by dedicated volunteers, included essential items such as rice, lentils, oil, salt, sugar, dates, and other daily necessities.

The distribution took place across several areas within Chakaria, with special attention given to remote and underserved villages where access to aid is often limited. The recipients expressed deep gratitude for the timely support, which allowed them to observe Ramadan with dignity and peace of mind.

Speaking about the project, a representative of United Welfare Society said:

“We are truly grateful to Zayed Charitable & Humanitarian Foundation for partnering with us in this noble cause. Their support enabled us to reach a significant number of vulnerable families this Ramadan. Our mission is to continue serving humanity with sincerity, especially during times of spiritual and social importance.”

This initiative is part of the United Welfare Society’s broader commitment to humanitarian aid, health care, and community development in rural and underdeveloped regions of Bangladesh.

The United Welfare Society extends sincere thanks to all volunteers, local coordinators, and well-wishers who contributed their time and effort to make this project a success.
